It all began at age 14, when Pastry Chef Laurie Klenkel prepared
miniature cheesecakes for a gourmet take-out business. Years later, after formal
training and an apprenticeship with famed French Pastry Chef Delphin Gomes, Laurie
produced pastries for renowned chocolatier L.A. Burdick. From there, Laurie began
her labor of love: making the best croissants this side of Paris. Laurielle,
her own croissant business, is the realization of that passion.
